The Syntax® SHD Roadline series has set a new benchmark for industry standard SAE-AS50151 designs. An uncompromised solution providing super-reliable military-grade multipin connections in such diverse fields as industrial machinery and automation, energy, managing of audio channels and connections of a wide range of devices. Suitable for any indoors or outdoor applications including live events, touring and broadcasting. Syntax® SHD Roadline extreme robustness guarantees long term reliability and an increased number of mating cycles in rigorous conditions. Circular bayonet connectors compliant with SAE-AS50151 standard (formerly known as MIL-C-5015) and based on VG 95234. RoHS compliant.

Bigger coupling roller pins and deeper knurled shells provide easy mating/unmating. Thicker machined construction prevents ovalization of the locking rings caused by unintentional blows. IP67 protective caps are available to ensure that the connectors are waterproof even when unmated. The Syntax IP67 protective caps are provided with special high-resistance lacing made up of seven stainless strands, covered by anti-scratch Teflon black tubing.

Extra tough for everyday work, extremely resistant to shocks and compression, smoothest insertion, best grip with or without gloves.The rubber coated version of the locking ring is now available on all the series of Syntax circular multipin connectors. For quick identification of your cables through color coding multiple color options are available in stock (examples in the photo). For special color customizations, according to RAL charts, please contact our Sales department.

IP67 Protection caps
IP67 Protection caps

Environmental caps are available on request and provide complete IP67 protection on unmated connectors. The use of protective caps results in extended life span of the connectors as the mating threads are protected against damage from impacts and improved safety as contacts are protected against dust and water even when the connectors are not mated.

For positive lacing, the IP67 caps are supplied with a special high-resistance lanyard made up of seven stainless strands, coated with anti-scraping black teflon tubing. On cable connectors, the lanyard is laced to a specific housing on the connector’s backshell.

Increased thickness of the locking-ring ensures greater resistance to all types of shock. The aluminium housing for the neoprene insert does not protrude from the edge of the locking ring, avoiding ovalization caused by accidental blows. The rolling pins inserted in the locking ring present enlarged swivel that ensures at least 2000 coupling/ uncoupling-cycles.
